This motel restaurant has met the challenges of isolation with outback ingenuity.
Story By Peter and Debra Scott
When two farming families joined forces to take over Harry’s Restaurant in Longreach, Qld, four years ago, they brought their passion for growing food from the paddock into the kitchen. “When you grow food, you know how good it can be,” says partner David Neal. His wife, Tanya, adds, “It is more than that. We just wouldn’t feel happy unless we provided dining experiences that we would be happy with ourselves.”
