Stuartholme School in Brisbane has a large fleet of keen rowers winning more than their share of medals.

For the first time since 1998, the first VIII rowing team from Stuartholme School won the Brisbane Schoolgirls’ Rowing Association Head of the River this year against nine other schools. It was one of many highlights in a year that has seen the school’s 115 rowers win medal after medal over many regattas.
“We’re breaking a bit of a drought,” says the school’s rowing director Matt Marden.
